Introducing Little Hermie

hermieKids need to read.

Kids need the Lord.

Kids need to read about the Lord. It's a simple formula that garners huge results, both in terms of their character and their literary skills. Its a guiding principle in our household and I'm committed to encouraging other parents to make it a priority.

If you're a regular reader of either of my blogs, you know one way I do that is by sharing great books with you. With that in mind, I’m thrilled to tell you about Max Lucado's new Hermie book, Hermie: A Common Caterpillar, and I’m more than thrilled to introduce you to Little Hermie who will bless your little ones with Little Hermie: Thank You God for Blessing Me and Little Hermie: Thank You God for Loving Me.

While Hermie will still bring joy to kids ages 4-8, Little Hermie will give tiny guys, ages 0-4, something to smile about. Actually, my 6 year old enjoyed all three of the books equally. That’s him in the picture sharing Little Hermie with one of our favorite little guys.

In Hermie: A Common Caterpillar, Hermie discovers that, although he is a common caterpillar, God loves him very much and is not finished with him yet. Hermie, who has a new look, gets a very exciting surprise at the end of the book. Your little reader will not be disappointed.

In Little Hermie: Thank You God for Blessing Me, Little Hermie prays a prayer of thanksgiving for God’s love. What a wonderful way to teach your child just how much the Father loves him.

In Little Hermie: Thank You God for Blessing Me, Little Hermie prays a prayer of thanksgiving for all that God has given Him. It’s a sweet little exercise in teaching children to be grateful for what they have.

Watch this YouTube video to hear about the new books directly from Max Lucado.

All three books are published by Tommy Nelson, a division of Thomas Nelson, Inc. The books are available at amazon.com (8.99 for Hermie, 6.99 for Little Hermie) and You can win all three right here!
